I think it's just that they're less fluffier here? With the problems and all. ¯_(ツ)_/¯. In the prequel, top was soo sweet and caring, regretting so much how he treated mc so roughly at first. But in here, i guess it got "ruined" cause of the top's actions from jealousy and all.
people like u r so annoying,if there is only fluff then what would be the plot? just because there is conflict between the two love interests doesnt mean "it ruined both of the characters"

We went from fluff, fun, cute in on off to this. Literally ruined both characters
