Soooo what happens next is, Taeui goes out w/o informing Illay and meets up Xinlu BUT he gets kidnapped by the man who has his twin !! So twin reunion finally !! Now both of them are kept as hostages and Illay is going crazy tryna find Taeui. But uh Xinlu mf shows up and saves them and takes the twin as hostage and in the meantime, Illay shows up too, destroying everything to save Taeui. But Taeui leaves w Xinlu cause twin situation and Illay is uh...mega mad and destroyed cause, he believes Taeui ran away from him. Now Illay becomes an international criminal and.. Taeui wants to find him cause bro got feelings for him. So he leaves and tries finding Illay but SUPRISE MFER, ILLAY FINDS HIM FIRST LOL. And oh god, Illay is mad and hurt. And uhhh, they have, sex against Taeui's wishes cause Illay thinks that he ran away from him..and forces Taeui to confess that he belongs to him and will never leave him. And then he calms down ?? There's a shift in his personality and fast forward, Taeui is done running, he's exhausted physically and mentally. So, Taeui convinces Illay to run away w him and so they run away to Berlin.
OMG!!! i thought the story would slow down and let their romance mature, do they ever realise each others feelings? and more importantly their own? also does ilay ever recover from the international criminal thing??? please tell me he treats taeui nicely at some point.

Oh yes, there's 3 books in total. So yes, the romance takes it time. In the current book, Illay is obsessed, controlling, scared and suffers in love. He goes to the extent of ruining his life and career to bring back Taeui.
In the second book, Taeui is emotionally numb and Illay becomes gentler and is no longer manipulative. Taeui is no longer scared of him but Illay seems to be walking on eggshells, trying not to ruin anything more
In the 3rd book, Taeui fully realises his feelings and Illay starts saying romantic things ? But this guy is beyond broken in his mind, it's hard for him to talk about it. But there's definitely deep emotional trust and many moments that show that they love eachother.
Their love isn't words or language, It's broken and quiet and especially for Illay, it's full of devotion. They are both honest to eachother, Illay even admits at the end that he's scared, Taeui will leave him again. So at the end, it's filled w these moments that convey their love is healing, it's like the air after the storm
And to add, he never recovered from being a wanted criminal but they do live a quiet life together. Illay works and Taeui stays at home like a housewife, lol. And oh, he starts treating Taeui exceptionally well from the nearing ending of the current book. Dude starts changing and by the 3rd book, he's a completely different person. Still broken but now in love and knows, he's loved too.
