Thinking that “oh, they dislike something I like? That means I’M SMARTER AND THEY’RE STUPID!!” is what only stupid people would say. And this is coming from someone who actually enjoys the story.

Absolutely, I agreen with all of this! People just completely ignore all the nuance of Taekyung and Heeseo's conflicting feelings. Human beings are complicated and so are their emotions, who knew.
And I don't understand how the story is confusing at all lmao? It's really not, if they actually reread it they'll see that this is where it was going the entire time. If you don't like it - stop reading, it's really that simple.
The story is not "bad" by any means just because some of you decided to reduce it to "victim fell in love with rapist".
I can tell now what people hate this kind of stories. They’re too complex for simple readers. The amount of people who don’t know how we got here when this has been developing since chapter one is amazing.
They’re both victims. And they bonded over their trauma. None of them is more toxic than the other. The fact that one is the one doing the penetration doesn’t mean he’s automatically the worst one. People just love to project their victim mentality bc of their own traumas and real life morals.
Their destinies have been tied from the beginning. They have lived around each other from the beginning. Heeseo wasn’t the only one obsessing over. He was just more straightforward about it bc he didn’t have any guilt towards a “family” who took him in like Taekyung. Taekyung has always desire to walk next to him but he couldn’t simply dismiss his “family” that’s why he was angry at himself. Angry that he didn’t have the guts to stop felling guilty and make his own life with his own decisions. Heeseo is the only thing he has decided for himself for himself. And Heeseo is the only one who has ever put Taekyung as number one priority. They absolutely deserve each other in the best of ways.
