As grandpa says, "Life doesn't always go the way you want it to." And I guess painting the mother being uninterested in her daughter would further highlight the father's awesomeness as a parent, although he's already the best dad without it

The mom becoming an antagonist was not something I expected when I first started reading this manhwa either way I don't understand the relevance of making her the way she is she doesn't care for her daughter yet from what some people are talking about from the novel she will be mentioned a lot more and it's truly so unnecessary honestly it just kinda breaks my heart for the mc
