I mean I get if it's not your taste but I don't understand how you consider it disrespectful,, the kurkans are more genuine, civilized and honorable and the white royals are the ones dealing with slavery and calling them barbaric just because they're different. if anything, imo it resembles the truth and history.

That’s fair, if they live in the desert. I dropped it as soon as I found out they went into heat, so I wasn’t aware of that. However, I still find it distasteful LOL. Like I said, i’m tired of the same trope of the giant, dark skin, animalistic ML, and the tiny, pale, kind FL. It’s constant and repulsive. Again, to each their own.

Because i’m allowed to share my opinion, the same way everyone is allowed to share theirs. There’s nothing wrong with it at all, but I AM pointing out that people are in fact trying to downplay it. Classic response, “if you don’t like it go somewhere else” Yikes! And I don’t think you know how long a seminar is.

Nope, South Asian. The attire the name and the appearance can be directly tied to south Asian culture. In fact I think one of the main outfits he wears is actually so, I can’t remember the exact country. Regardless tanned = barbaric in most Korean stories, the more rowdy one, the more animalistic one, the more sexual one, for women, the more masculine one. There’s nothing to defend about Korean authors. You can like this story and still acknowledge the stereotypical bullshit
they wrote the kurkans as these animalistic brutes and it makes me uncomfortable. dark skin, huge bodies, AND they go into a heat like state? plus it’s always the pale skinned, sweet, tiny girl, with the giant, dark skin, irrational guy pairing. im clearly not the target audience, and i find it very disrespectful, but to each their own. however, i’m not reading this corny cliche trash.
