Nah up to the end they're not technically approve the marriage of course not because they dont like Perez but they dont like giving Tia to another guy XD
And they had no choice but to approve since something surprisingly happened.hahaha
I was just theorizing, not asking for spoilers
This might either sway grandpa and dad to complete approve Perez (he is showing he's not afraid to sacrifice his life for Tia)
Or it might make them oppse their "engagement" strongly bc he might be the one who put her in danger in the first place (if the assasins were sent for him and Tia got caught in the fire)
It all depends one who they targeting I guess
