The author probably mixed symptoms wo knowing much about the diagnosises. Yea I agree he seems more autistic but the author makes him seem like a psychopath, but in a way that overdramatizes autism n makes his symptoms seem evil… not rly in a psychopath way I think?
I think the biggest thing that makes them overlap is people with autism have to really observe others and try to copy them to fit in
People who are psychopaths ALSO do that lol but they aren't like..inherently evil, they just don't have the same capacity of having sympathy for other people.
But yeah when you see people struggling hard to understand others and then trying to mask as a "normal" person, you're gonna get a lot of overlap and that's why he seems autistic I think
