Exactly my thoughts. I honestly gave up on the ML. I just don't care about him anymore. I focused more on Taemin right now since I love his character progress. He's also not taking lightly the opportunities he's getting. I like him a lot.
You remember how Taemin calls him a Psychopath? Well, it is very accurate description of Jay. In the last book We get Jay's backstory and it is really nicely tied up with the present time (づ￣ ³￣)づ

I'm just thinking out loud...I don't dislike the ML, I just struggle to enjoy him as a character. We know some of his back story but he like, barely emotes, and his only development throughout the entire story is going from mysterious to less mysterious. I hoped the side stories would flesh him out more. Maybe it will but meh, doubt it at this rate. At least every other character is interesting, including obviously Taemin who's extremely likable.
