Me la estoy pasando bien raro.

Like. The way they feel about each other is NOT normal. REALLY BORDERING ON SOMETHING MORE THAN PLATONIC THERE.

The way they kept?? Blushing around each other?? Hello??? And then she turns into her DAIGHTER?!??? HUH?!?!?! that's like that one ghibli movie where they reveal that's her grandma just worse I'm just.

Also if she's gonna take over the body of a baby, does that mean babies don't have souls? Or they just don't give s fuck lol. Idk.

Also just angel. No offense to hima dn tbh I skipped some chapters so maybe they developed it more there but he literally fell in love with her while she was ACTING AS HER. Like that's not her real personality?? He'd basically be in love with the personality of his daughter then laud what is this

I feel like their relationship is far beyond what we can comprehend I would say their relationship is beyond platonic but not quite in lovers territory. I think the best way to describe them is soulmates both literally and figuratively

Very valid points you're making, I even tried my best to keep a ship about them and even felt the burn to make some fanart but the whole daughter thing rubbed me wrong like
I can see the respect, admiration, love be it platonic and even romantic but filial???? I didn't even think about a family relationship between them until remilia herself said it lmao
And Angel is a sweetie and YOU'RE SO RIGHT I read the whole thing and he basically DID fall for Emi's Remilia not really Remi and it saddened me cuz he's a really nice guy but honestly it seems like the author made the last min swerve to avoid a romance ending
I'm not gonna play dumb, the few ways for Emi to be in a physical world w Remi was either necromance, a puppet, a golem like Remi said or being outright born into the world yeah but as Remi's child?? Crazy imo
Also the baby thing, it's probably something like babies don't have souls until they're born but they are alive so they can have a soul and Remi said Emi would keep just a few memories of her previous family but it doesn't seem to be enough to be the "Emi personality" that Angel fell for

I forgot to add to the word wall but I still loved the ending regardless bc they still love e/o just not the romantic way it might've shown and the thing of Remilia receiving that love that she yearned for and finding they will to live in a world that seemed better off without her made me tear up ngl

I get what you mean and mostly agree but like. Her first thought when she got confessed to was *her*.

She only accepted angels confession because he loves the person she becomes when she imitates emi, so she basically loves that he loves *emi*.

She doesn't even love angel, the literal father of her kids and husband

I would have been more convinced if she loved angel because then we can see her romantic relationships is different but in this case literally ALL she does revolves around emi.

And then she becomes their kid which just adds an unnecessary weird layer to it. It feels incestuous to me.

I don't want to be one of those people who act like their ship is canon or whatever but this feels incestuous

Honestly I don't think it's familial love either, I think she just wanted to give emi a body and that was the easiest way to give her s good one + keep her close.

Imagine the favoritism she's gonna show the younger child too (something tells me she won't be having more children with angel after she's born ) so if the oldest children usually get Jesus of their younger siblings he is going to fucking suffer.

Lol I'm glad you enjoyed it. I sadly can't say the same. Her hiding her true self from her husband and not even loving him sours it too much for me. There were so many other ways to go about it

No for sure, it really is a big let down as much as in the story as for Remi's character
I liked Remi's newfound resolve to live but I suppose a romantic relationship w someone else is gonna take homegirl some work (。ŏ n ŏ)

I just hope Remi's a better mother than she might be a wife and isn't THAT unfair to poor Pinachan boy
