No. In the end of chapter, you can see slightly tan skin. The white skin we saw it just a power to blend or hide his curse. But now he is free from the curse, so he has tan skin or black

From my understanding, the pendant gave him enough power to revert to his pre-curse form which was the white blond, but at the end he either had some curse left in him or the toll the curse left on his body remained, giving him the darker skin. I kinda like it cuz it shows how you don’t stop being ‘you’ just because your appearance changes ;)
I think he stated that he's been with the curse too long and that he is no longer himself. I think he said he hates how he sees himself in the mirror so he constantly wears that head armor....
I hate complaining but WHY IS HE WHITE??????? I was super duper waiting for a beautiful tan red haired king
