first chapter of the novel helped me to understand but basically i guess he had a dream about the “future” where their son asks if he ever truly loved fl and i guess makes him do a 180 on her
omg sorry forgot to mentioned he had the dream while being away from work which is why he rushed to come see her and started acting so weird
I’m confused with the timeline, for a moment I thought he came back from the past when he started to be nice to her
