Of course. That's the authors plan for the coming arc. We'll have to be patient tho xD. In the creator's notes (Ch.79.5), here what they said about the current & coming events:
"And this period will mark the worst time of Yeonjo and Hee-ryang's relationship. As mentioned earlier, Hee-ryang will be viciously obsessive + abusive toward Yeonjo, committing "untold brutalities," which he will come to sorely regret by the time we reach Act 3.
(No, "regret" won't even begin to cover it. He will want to gouge his heart out and eat it in penitence...!)"

This is a slow burn so him saying “you will rue this day” right now tells me there will be great suffering to come. Are we finally going to see a ML actually suffer for the atrocities they’ve committed against the MC?
