I wouldn't. I am quite picky in general though, so it doesn't mean its bad.
I just felt the author wanted to confuse us and just reflected in us feeling the FL was dumb instead when the story didn't quite progress. Might be more tolerable when you don't need to wait months for said progress though. Also my previous comment (last b4 yours) about the messy ending was about the uploads and not the content
