Lol same. I'm wondering if this'll lead to more info about colony or the current aerin's dad's wife and daughter, or something else entirely. Ooh or what if it's just a distraction by the professor and what/whoever he's with?
Yeah... I know for a family that large, there's bound to be enemies... But to specifically target his wife and daughter doesn't make sense... He's third in line to inherit the duchy...
Also, maybe Aerin's parents are also connected to their deaths..

must've planned to replace Aerin with a fake so they could take her....
