The reason shes so in her head about setting the two of them up can be classed in two parts.
One, when she was younger people bullied her for having a crush on someone, which ruined her self esteem and self worth. Then she started taking joy from helping friends with their crushes even if she herself also has a crush on the same, because that way she gets to keep her friends. She knows if she doesn’t support their crushes then her friends would drop her and maybe bully her like before.
And two, she played as the FL in the game. So even though she’s her own separate person in this world, she still sees herself through the fl and again, gets the second hand enjoyment from her two favs getting together.
I agree that she’s hella annoying to the point I want to smack her upside the head and take HER place to woo this stud of a man.
Cuz at the end of the day she is actively trying to manipulate real LIVING and BREATHING people to suit her needs. She’s one of those stupid FLs who just shrug their shoulders and thinks they can do whatever because, “I’m in a game so OF COURSE I can play god and make them follow how I want them to because I know everything!”
exactly, i can see why she’s like that. she grew without being able to full express herself in terms of relationships, and she fully believes she’s in a game world where they aren’t real humans. considering those two maybe she can be understood a little, but she’s lowkey an unexcused airhead. if she had just looked for the ribloom herself, instead of the alex and saint (which she was trying to do the entire time), his life wouldn’t be in danger. not to mention she easily showed us she could’ve done it herself.
if we look at the relationship between her and blonde guy, she doesn’t see him as an option at all, or even a human, which is why she acts relatively friendly with him and is oblivious to his actions. she doesn’t know how to work with relationships and it shows, her inability to see that she could be understood by others is what’s stopping her from expressing herself. there’s a barrier between her and other people, almost like a fourth wall that completely closes her off, she would probably think that if she crosses it things in the game might go for a bad turn.
alexandrite, which she borderline worships, is the closest thing she has to her true self and her true feelings. she 100% believes he’ll die unless he’s with the saint. she’s willing to even give herself for the sake of the otome route to proceed. and just like how she ignore her own feelings, she disregards others too, she doesn’t understand that she loves him more than she loves herself and thats the annoying part.

to be honest, its a good read if you ignore everything and read for just the scenes, but even then, the fl is straight up ill?? she thinks so shallowly and is naive to fault.. like why are you leading him on when he’s clearly showing signs? and that blonde prince too, like ur cute but how about you stop competing with your brother over a woman? its clear that he liked her first. alex pursing her but she continues to push the saintess on him?? when she clearly has a mutual love with the black haired?? but even the saintess is fake with her “competition” when she couldve just outright told her to give up? she knows black haired likes her and that fl’s fake crush isn’t gonna work. the only normal people here are alexandrite and onyx. everyone else a snake in someway, its cute if you read blindly. but alexandrite deserves so much better. imagine me meeting my favourite LIKE WYM U WOULDN’T PURSUE HIM??EVEN WHEN HE’S LITERALLY GIVING U THE GREEN LIGHT?? i mean she does seem to have some internal issues with her worth and the fact that its a “game” BUT THERES A LIMIT, if its just a “game” you might as well enjoy it?? but on the other hand i completely understand her, ML IS AN ABSOLUTE UNIT HOLY SHIT?!? I UNDERSTAND WHY SHE’S SO DOWN BAD AND THATS HER WHOLE PERSONALITY BUT DAMN HE’S MAJESTIC. i’m his fan, not the story. she doesn’t even see him as a favourite but literally a being of worship, like even for a mentally ill fan theres a fourth wall you cannot jump over, she has that chance but still ignores it. she needs to learn from hestia and set her priorities straight. he doesn’t need the saint he needs someone to love, whats stopping fl from becoming that person? it seems like she cannot even comprehend that much.
