Chase does ask about it once and Josh answers that the headphone hurts him....and Chase believes him (there are even more obvious things he ignores later).:D Chase is a bit naive, he is not nearly as perceptive as his brother Grayson is. If Josh was Grayson's bodyguard he would have found out very fast, if he were interested. But Grayson doesn't have bodyguards.:D

If it’s an in universe rule that alphas mark omegas by biting their ears, then shouldn’t Josh be hiding his ear better? Maybe grow out his hair or wear some strategic piercings? That bandage is way too obvious. And he seriously thinks that thin earpiece wire is enough to cover it? In his dreams maybe. Honestly, I’m surprised people aren’t constantly asking him about it.
Also, Chase’s codename is literally just “C”, to preserve his confidentiality, apparently. Could they not come up with something less obvious? And why are they calling him “C” in private conversations among themselves while standing on his own estate? Feels a little over the top, no?
