I’m seeing a lot of talk about the age gap in the comments and I’ve come to the conclusion that some people are looking at it from two different stand points some are putting their values first and other are basing it off of how the author is executing their relationship. Personally, I think the age and power dynamic is a little too far apart for my liking, and that kind of thing can be hard to ignore, even in fiction. But at the same time, if the author is clearly writing a healthy, respectful story without any predatory or harmful elements, then I get why some people are okay with it or willing to set it aside. It really just comes down to what each person is comfortable with and how the story handles those dynamics.
