i- uh. comments like these always confuse the fuck out of me. that’s the whole plot of this story. this was always going to be toxic ml who hurts and manipulates the mc. right now you’re basically saying ‘i wish this author wrote a whole new story’.
If you'd read properly and use your critical thinking skills you'd understand that this comment wasn't particularly directed to this webtoon (as stated in the last sentence) but a general thought bc that's the same dynamic we've been getting a lot recently. Also no I don't wish the author wrote a whole new story.

If authors so insists on red flag MLs then I wish they'd at least let the MC know this from the jump. Not make the MC fall for who they thought was a nice person who turns out to be scum so the MC is now attached to them based on the feelings they had when they thought the ML was a good person.
I don't have a problem with red flag MLs just with the fact that us as readers are being shown that the MC is obviously hurt by/scared of/dislikes the ML and they go back to them.
I'd respect these stories more if authors commit to a proper red flag ML who didn't do a 180 midway through the story.
Also not disparaging this webtoon just a thought I had after this chapter.
