poor man

I am beyond curious to know why a person who couldn't stand watching injustices and was not afraid of being vocal about it despite the consequences... Now, he would rather stay silent and even question if he has the right to anything. You can say that he is being professional or that he still doesn't know what to think about Haeyool, but after all the hints of his past and how his mental health was destroyed over the years... Yeah, I'm really curious about what happened to him.

I think that’s a really realistic way of showing what time does to people tbh. I feel for his Character deeply because I was the same in my teenage years, always getting into trouble trying to fight bullies, injustice behaviour generally and even with the police. But humans often use people like this and with time you simply stop acting on these feelings. My empathy definitely sank over the years too. I would get into a situation when a woman or a child is in danger but otherwise I go my way. I’m too old for this shit and don’t have the nerves anymore to be a good person like that. Not saying that’s this is the right way or a good way to be but it be like that sometimes..

You still sound great, I'm not going to lie haha I get what you're saying. Maybe not to that extent, but I also relate to the matter in the sense of questioning whether kindness and courage have any value in an environment where it's better to keep your mouth shut. Sometimes people around you and the time you spend with them make you lose not only your sense of self, but also hope and empathy for others. It's tiring, genuinely exhausting.... That's why I like Yeongwoon's character so much, because despite him being a victim at the hands of a person who was supposed to take care of him and being used by others who just wanted to hurt him because of who he was... Overall, he's still a good person. That's why I think his character is the best, in any context, because despite the pain he has lived through and continues to live through he is still very luminous individual. It's a great ideology.

That’s sweet thank you. He’s definitely one of my favourite characters rn too! It takes a lotttt of strength to still be kind and empathetic after being through so much like him. Even tho it’s probably not the best for him personally and he could live comfortably tossing his pure heart aside. He’s a good person, through and through. We don’t get that too often in BL imo so that’s really nice ^-^
