You cannot raise a child and then fuck them!

I hate this trope so much. I hope you all take a step back and look at this trope for what it is, it is a pedophiles fantasy. The whole point of this trope is to betray the pedophile, the adult, as the innocent one. The child, the small child that the adult raised, is the sexually aggressive and guilty one. The child seduces the adults and the adult is blameless.

This trope exists to portray the adults who fucks a child they raise as the innocent one in the situation. We all know this doesn't exist in real life. Children do not want to have sex with adults who raise them unless they are groomed.

This trope intentionally does not show any grooming or any sexual activity when the child is still young because they are trying to show the ultimate fantasy of a pedophile. The pedophile is the good guy and the victim, the child the pedophile raise is just so desperate for their Dusty old dick that he can't stop them.

This is the fantasy for pedophiles. This is why pedophiles are always saying "the child seduced me!" This is why grooming is so dangerous because it's designed to make the child think that they are actually attracted to the pedophile and that the sexual activity is the child's fault.

This trope is the pedophiles fantasy. The fantasy where they didn't have to do any grooming and the child is desperate to fuck them anyways.

The fact that the adult, the pedophile, is being forced into the relationship by the sexually aggressive child is the trope.

The pedophile being the innocent victim is what makes this trope what it is.

I don't know how I can make that more clear. Every time I point this out I have people replying to me going "no no, the pedophile is the innocent one!" Without realizing that's the whole point.

The whole point of this trope is that it's the pedophile's fantasy. The pedophile doesn't imagine themselves as the villain, the pedophile doesn't want to be the bad guy. The pedophile wants the child to be so desperate for their Dusty old dick that the child would do anything for them.

The trope is the pedophile's fantasy. It's not the reality so it doesn't show any of the negative things the pedophile does, it shows the pedophile and the most positive light possible.

Grooming doesn't just happen between 50-year-old men and little kids, teenagers can groom little kids as well. If you are 17 and you are sexually attracted to someone who is 8 you're still a pedophile.

I do not understand why people want to defend this trope so hard. It's so obvious what it's doing. You cannot meet a child, raise the child, be the child's teacher, and then fuck the child... It doesn't matter how badly the child wants it, you cannot fuck children. You cannot wait until the child is grown and then fuck them. You cannot fuck children.

Yeh got u, tbh my problem w the work is the rape, idk if they knew eachother or not literally half of world's relationship one of em knew the other as kids so for me idc abt the age gap what's bothering me is the rape and now the victim is getting blamed... I understand and i respect your opinion! But i just pointed that the uke is a victim here. He got raped, for now he did nothing wrong, it's wrong to promise kids of marriage when they're young but it's not that deep, but later the story gonna develop and they'll fall in love, that would be the actual issue

Yall need to have comprehension skills

One the kid kept on insisting that he will marry the uke so uke said yeah to make him stop crying

Two if uke actually reciprocated these feelings when the seme was a kid then yeah it is grooming

Three uke clearly wasn't since he was shocked by his actions and clearly this was rape and the uke is the victim

Five you can't claim grooming when the uke never did anything to the seme as a child. The seme is behaving intentionally as an adult at this point in chapter 2

Four you can't apply our moral standards now to the moral standards of the time this story takes place, this is the least bizzare thing that happened back then mind you and it is not to excuse morally wrong things but that's just the reality at that time

    THAT'S THE WHOLE POINT!!

The fact that the adult, the grown adult, is perfectly innocent and has done absolutely nothing wrong but this child is sexually obsessed with them and willing to go to any length to get a hold of their Dusty old dick is the whole trope.

The pedophile has a fantasy where they have done nothing wrong and children are just coming on to them. This is that fantasy.

I don't know why that's so hard to understand. The whole point of this trope is that it is designed specifically to appeal to pedophiles and to show pedophiles that they are doing nothing wrong. That the pedophile, the adult the grown adult pedophile, is the innocent victim and children are just out here running around coming on to them through no fault of their own.

Everything you're saying in defense of the trope is just reinforcing how thorough the trope is and how insidious it isn't making you think this sort of grooming and pedophilia is okay.

Honestly you're going trhu crazy circles. First, their original story wasn't revealed ok ? They said that the kid was slowly getting along w the older teen, so there wasn't any attraction, the older literally dismissed the kid by saying yes to marrying them. Kids tend to ask fot Marriage, it's more common than what u think. You might haven't crossed this but kids don't understand the concept of marriage, they see 2 ppl being together and happy, to them that's something beautiful, so the kid got attached to the older teen, asked for marriage bc it's a kid, he doesn't even understand the concept he just loved the older guy and enjoyed his presence
Years went by, the uke is back and now THEY ARE BOTH ADULTS. The younger had some crazy shit fixation on the elder, we're talking ABOUT THIS MANHWA, the seme raped the uke bc he was promised to get married to him and probably just learned what marriage has, THE SEME IS CRAZY, HE' IS MENTALLY ILL BC WHY WOULD U GO TO YOUR CHILDHOOD FRIEND AND FORCE YOURSELF ON HIM
there wasn't any hint that the uke had something going w the kid , and there won't be bbc that's pedophily and manhwa others don't risk their shit.
So, stop accusing the fucking Victim of RAPE by something not present.

Ps: if you think a child asking for a silly marriage bc they're just a kid and they don't understand the concept of marriage well then the problem is you, it happens often, my cousin whom i see once in a few months said I'll marry you when i grow up, so now you're gonna accuse me of pedophily too bc the kid i sometimes babysit and get along w him said he wanted to marry me yeah?

If you babysit someone and you have sex with them then you are a pedophile. You are not childhood friends with people you babysit. You are not childhood friends with people you teach. You are not childhood friends with people that are 10 years younger than you.

You continue to talk about this specific manhwa because you are titillated by the rape scenes and are imagining yourself in the adults shoes because the stories written from there point of view. This is normal and a lot of young people have trouble separating themselves from a character in order to view a trope.

I am not talking about these specific characters because this is all a part of a larger trope. If you don't understand what a trope is then you need to go look it up.

You are not listening to what I am saying, you are so caught up in your defense of a specific character that you do not realize that you have fallen for the trope.

If someone is FORCED into sexual activity by someone who's much younger than them, how does that make them a pedophile?
From what I know, a pedophile is a person who is sexually attracted to children. I don't think he was sexually attracted to the other guy at all. I don't understand your statement, even after all that explaining. Please enlighten me.

Right.. They explained so much, but it still wasn't making sense to me. Can't accuse a character of being a pedophile when he was FORCED into sex by someone younger, he didn't ask to be raped... I'm sure the trope they're talking about exists (somehow), but it's definitely not the case in this manwha, from my point of view. He was raped, never showed any sexual interest in him, he saw him as a little brother. You can't call a victim 'a pedophile' for being FORCED (I need to emphasize on this) by someone much younger.

Again, you are focused on the characters to the point where you don't see the trope. Do you know what tropes are?

"Tropes refer to common plot structures, character archetypes, or recurring motifs that are characteristic of a particular genre or type of storytelling. For example, the "hero's journey" is a well-known narrative trope in many stories."

You can't see the forest because you are focusing on the trees. I am not talking about these specific characters but rather the trope that this manhwa is a part of. You're so caught up on the characters innocence that you weren't realizing the characters innocence is a part of the trope.

The point of this manhwa and the larger trope is that the adult is innocent. The adult in this story is innocent. That's the point. You're obsessed with this innocence that you see in this character, you're so caught up in the victimhood that you don't realize that's the point.

You need to stop focusing on the characters and instead think about who this story is written for. In reality, who is this designed to be appealing to. What is the person being represented by the main character. Who would identify with this main character. In reality, what is the closest thing to this main character?

Who is this story written for and what does it represent in real life?

It is designed to be a pedophile's fantasy. The main character, while completely innocent in the story, is a self-insert for a groomer pedophile. Their fantasy is that they are so irresistible to children that children will do anything for them, including breaking the law and doing horrible things like kidnapping, imprisonment, and rape. They are just so irresistibly attractive to children that of course children want to fuck them.

You do not have a victim of rape right here because the story isn't real. The characters aren't real. There is no victim.

You are so caught up in defending an imaginary victim that you don't see what the story actually is. There is no victim blaming happening here because I don't care about this specific character because this specific character isn't real. I'm not talking about them, they don't exist.

    What exists is the trope.

You need to take a step back from your emotional attachment to this character and their victimhood and you need to see who this story was written for. What point of view is this story from?

The point of view of this story is an adult that has sex with a child that they raised. The adult was a teacher, a babysitter, and a mentor to this child and now they are having sex with this child. This adult is going to fall in love with this child and they are going to be in a long-term relationship.

    That's the point of view.

Now, how do we make this point of view sympathetic? How do we make this adult who is going to enter into a sexual and romantic relationship with a child they raise sympathetic? we make them a victim. We make them an innocent victim. We take this adult who did something that is unforgivable and disgusting and we have something horrible happen to them and we make sure to frame them is completely innocent.

Now you have a story written for someone who wants to have sex with a child they raised where they can engage in that fantasy without feeling any guilt.
