I'm trying so hard to explain this but it feels so obvious to me. It's probably because I'm old, very old lol. I'm really not trying to be argumentative or crazy, I just really want this trope to end.

Stories shouldn't be written from the point of view of a monster but in a way that makes that monster seem innocent.
It's like having a story from Ted Bundy's POV but in the story all of the many many women that he murders somehow deserve it and the story is designed to make you feel sympathetic to him because something terrible happens to him... That's outrageous, it's disgusting, it's insulting to every victim he had, it's like spitting in the face of all of their families. No one would want to read that story but somehow we all want to read stories from that exact same point of view but it's some random pedophile instead of Ted Bundy.
I'll keep thinking of a better way to explain it so hopefully more people see what I see and hopefully stop engaging with these stories. At least no one on this website is paying for it so the author isn't making a profit off of this nonsense, lol.

The whole point of this trope is to betray the pedophile, the adult, as the innocent one. The child, the small child that the adult raised, is the sexually aggressive and guilty one. The child seduces the adults and the adult is blameless.
This trope exists to portray the adults who fucks a child they raise as the innocent one in the situation. We all know this doesn't exist in real life. Children do not want to have sex with adults who raise them unless they are groomed.
