I wanted to write that I largely agree, but then I read about that mpreg I absolutely disagree there, it completely fucked up this story. This story was developing and Zigril was starting to be more empathetic, relatively respectful of Kay and just making fun of him. And then suddenly BOOM - Zigril wants to impregnate him with a snap of his finger. Like wtf bro If it continued to develop as a fantasy story full of their joint adventures and gradual rapprochement - that would be a million times better. And not put that disgusting mpreg there (I stopped reading it at that time and now I was bored, so I readed how it ended). Absolutely rushed nonsense and huge wasted potential tbh

Just going to put this out there, but literally the entire plot of this story was Zigril looking for a magic pregnancy flower. From the beginning it was obvious Kay was going to get pregnant because otherwise why introduce a magic pregnancy flower in a M/M story? You call it disgusting and that it messed up the story.... when the obvious point of the story was the mpreg. Maybe just in the future avoid stories that are tagged mpreg if you hate it so much. ┑(￣Д ￣)┍

When I started reading it, there was no mpreg tag anywhere, otherwise I wouldn't have read it in my life And I stand by the fact that mpreg is the main problem, because say what you want, but baby trapping someone is the most disgusting thing and it wouldn't be here without mpreg
There are plenty of non-mpred novels that end up with the main character being coerced, blackmailed, imprisoned, or developing Stockholm syndrome. Even without the baby Zigril would have found a way to ensure Kay couldn't leave him. He's a yandere character, so with or without mpreg Kay would never be able to leave his side.

The thing about a lot of toxic manhwa's is that there's an expectation that after all the abuse, misunderstandings, (and usually rape), the ML goes through some huge character development and ends up treating the MC like gold. Examples being Painter of the Night, Love History Caused by Willful Ignorance, Paper Flower, Codename Anastasia (from the novel), Jinx (eventually, we all say hopefully), and so on. Like yeah these MLs were horrible abusive ass holes in various ways, but as readers we know that there's going to be character development and a happy ending which is why a lot of people read those stories.
My issue with this manhwa is that there was no real character development, no connection, no eventual understanding or mutual love forming. Ziegril is still a jealous dick, Kay is still an oblivious himbo, neither understands each other (or even attempts to understand the other). So reading about their silly domestic bliss feels flat. I only read to the end because I anticipated them actually being genuine with each other (which hey, it may still happen), but the whole story seemed to have a lot of build up and ended up giving us nothing. Hell we didn't even really get to see Kay's pregnant belly or pregnant sex. Like come on! There may be zero emotional connection but at least show more of the mpreg!
Anyways, story had potential. Execution of the story fell super flat. Could have been amazing, but the plot got fumbled.
