the author in no way shape or form tries to belittle or downplay the rape. it’s brought up multiple times by nakwon himself throughout followed by analysis on why mokhwa is 100% valid to not be so accepting of his feelings. mokhwa himself hasn’t forgotten or acts as though nothing happened. it was definitely unnecessary but with the way it’s being handled id say it’s important to their development as “lovers”.
i wouldn’t blame you for not wanting to read because it’s kinda an intense couple of pages but it’s worth a shot

I finished it! The r@pe aspect was handled nicely but I wasn't really into the character development... It felt like nakwon got obsessed with mokhwa out of nowhere... They didn't have enough meaningful interactions to justify him losing his mind over mokhwa almost dying.... I'm disappointed on how much I had to suspend my disbelief over nakwon's character for several moments
