Same im more on Riks side, and in some aspects rik was right when they were arguing. It took just a little few words of encouragement from his dad for Jin to immediately forget about all the emotional abuse he was put through. Rik did have the luxury of "forgetting" bc he was being physically abused and was ditched by his. Jin knew Rik didnt have anyone but still told him they could never be a real family after preaching sm abt having eachother and being a real family even down to the vows. That doesnt justify Rik being a bully but Jin 100% took it too far especially when Rik was willing to put his pride aside and publicly apologize infront of everyone. I love that the author is willing to make the MC be in the wrong in most situations where kids do stupid shit and hes not super emotionally mature

i dont think rik is dead, jinhyeong would be waaaay more disraught now if that was the case. he probabaly skipped town or something.
i also think it was jinhyeongs fault for saying the thing about "being real family" to rik but i also think rik was out of line for bulling jinhyeong and spilling his tea to the school and then jinhyeong just made things 100x worse for spilling riks beans in front of everyone after he tried to publicly apologise. like his life is already awful without you saying "thats why yo mama left" damn. im not mad at either them tho but im more on riks side bc i would react the same way lmaoooooo
