
As someone who doesn’t drink, doesn’t smoke, doesn’t take any other sort of drugs, rarely drinks coffee and doesn’t consume sugar or other snacks or treats…. I feel you so much not knowing how to soothe yourself when consumed by anxiety. I sometimes just crash out emotionally crying and screaming when I bottled it all up for too long. Sometimes a 2-3h walk with a podcast and fresh air helps a lot. (But it’s best to walk somewhere where there are less people, no busy streets and stuff but like nature. Where you can stare off far into the distance and be alone with yourself, thoughts e,pty with some podcast for background noise.) Also the physical exhaustion from walking 20k steps during those 2/3 hours helps with balancing out your emotions.
what do you guys do when you're anxious? i feel like starting on drinking or smoking herbals to calm myself down. or idk, i don't have a single thing i do when i feel sick it's so cruel i'm raw dogging life
