Given the current situation, the team is pretty much a puppet on strings.
The red haired guy does NOT want to let them go, hence he staged trouble so they need to have 'payment' to deal with (aka a new mission to work on for Red Head).
And given they are mafia; this will not ever end unless the team is useless.
They need another way to get out and I very much hope that our main bean is somehow gonna be key to it. Since in the previous chapter he mentioned in a really sad way that he was finally useful to someone, even if it's his kidnappers.
That last thing however makes me worried that MAYBE at some point in the story, he will accept a suicide mission. Because THAT would be the ultimate 'helpful' to them, since none of them would get hurt and he doesn't care much for himself either...
