You all acting as if TJ was the victim is an other level of victim blaming. Even worse, you all are trying to make the actual aggressor look like the victim
Ian is the victim here. Not TJ.

1 TJ hired someone to break ian's dream to be an athlet (also breaking his legs btw) bc he didn't want him to leave. And, as he his too mich of a coward to face his own feelings and responsibilities, it was easier to do so than confessing to ian or leaving this gangster life to stay with ian

2 by doing so, he literally condemned ian to this life of crime, which lead to his dependency on substance (from the pain of having his entire future stole away from him when his leg got broken) and the abused that followed

3 when ian got his revange on the man who raped him and gang raped him, TJ made sure thay he woukd go to prison, even though the lawyer said that ian could be FREE. By doing that, he just made even more sure that he could never escape from this life (to keep him with him),bc once again TJ is an insecure little bitch

4 in prison, he made ian pay for the protection (who tf would make the man they "love" pay for protection), intentionally putting him into debts, to make EVEN MORE SURE (as if he didn't make enough already) that ian would never be able to leave, and be dependent on him. (Romantic isn't it eurk)

5 after all that, knowing ian past with drugs (dependency, abuse, overdose...) he still made him sell drugs. How lovely of him

So yeah, no, TJ is not your little "i feel so sad for him" he's a little entitled, insecure, self centered, coward little boy with be strongest small dick energy I've ever seen.

He is ready to destroy ian to keep him (and he already broke him quite well). He only cares about being able to have him, he doesn't give a damn shit about his well being (not even just on a physical level, freakin crazy). That's not love. That's disgusting

But you all are too focused on the sex scene to actually read the story and care about the MC, acting like the little fetishist you are

Real. I'll be honest. I never liked TJ. TJ had a choice, he just didn't make the right one and he still can't. Imo he's just a possessive lunatic. Just want Ian to live a life where he isn't so broken.

all tj fans need to read ts...half of them say "they both deserve each other cause theyve been through a lot.." ??? theyve been through a lot because TJ made them go through that sht, the other half is saying "jo is bland" as if jo didnt live in a complete different envoirement than both tj and ian, also to them 'bland = not toxic'

I never liked TJ from the start, and I couldn't understand why. The guy is hot, the sex scenes were hot, but I just had this gut feeling that he was trash. Now I know why, after we got this far. The guy is a monster.

Frrr, plus jo isn't bland at all, he's adorable and complex. The way he's ready to change his entire perspective on life for ian is mind-blowing

Fr. Ian is one of my favorite bl characters ever. He's so complex and my heart really hurt for him. He is so realistic, and the way the fandom is treating him (and TJ) is exactly how society treat victims and agressor in real life

THANK YOU FOR LAYING IT ALL OUT! Like I can’t understand how you can read the story and genuinely wish they end up together. Ian and TJ’s dynamic is interesting but it’s super toxic. Their codependency is not healthy at all and is the worse way for their characters to end. They need to let go, especially Ian, to be able to live a better life. That doesn’t mean you have to ship Ian and Jo, but at least don’t make up random reasons as to why that ship is toxic
