but you're absolutely right. i love it when stories are set in a historical timeline and the translations keep up w the language usage of that time period. so brilliant.
I really enjoy reading this so much, but only for the writing, it’s so eloquent, the dialogues are very nuanced. My brain sometimes forget that there is art to be seen because it’s focused on the writing. I feel like I’m reading Wuthering Heights but gay and has more rape and well…. The only similarity actually is the writing and the obsessive part lol
