I also thought that, but it was his mother (after the August Man filming was over) that convinced him to continue his love for acting. Yes, he wanted to avoid it to prevent himself from being fixated on money and fame, but seeing that his mother is doing well (with all the other sellers at the market---something he didn't see in his past life) and a now he's surrounded by others that can support him, I think he decided to see how far he can go to make his mom proud.
Overall I just think that the trauma is still there but what he's done is build new relationships with others that can protect his mom in his stead!! :D (can't wait for the remarriage if his mom and side dish guy ever do it)
True. But, putting myself in his position I would've just made Busan my home base. If I regret so badly that I well offed myself. I would most likely be more obsessed with spending time with her. I do like the story. It's cute and a nice regression plot. ヾ(❀╹◡╹)ﾉ~
I just feel like his main motivation was his mother. But, he really moved to Seoul so quickly to live with a director? I thought he'd stay in Busan or something. Especially someone with so many traumatic regrets. I know the whole plot is to be an actor. I'm just shocked how quickly he moves on.
