It wasn't just rough sex, it was straight up violence. Yunshin looked like he was assaulted.

Iirc, in the novel both Yunshin & Seheon verbalize that they do like rough sex. Seheon never really hits Yunshin. Yes, he does like kinky sex but he never crosses the boundary and he always takes care of Yunshin and everthing else in the aftermath.
After looking at the raws, I think what Yunshin has on his body that looks a lot like bruises are mostly carpet burns which are a common injury if you are having sex on carpet. Also, Seheon's back is also scratched up. Seems like the artist just went a bit too realistic? to portray that. Also, iirc Yunshin was mentioned to bruise easily in the novel.
Anyways, I would like to say that Yunshin is shown as a character to stand his ground even in front of Seheon. He is a strong character who knows what he wants and willingly went on to pursue Seheon. Seheon also treated Yunshin as an equal in their relationship despite being his superior at work and learnt a lot of things from Yunshin while being in a relationship with him. So lets not belittle their relationship.
