Okay, so the nuance I got from reading the novel, this girl was already have a bit of jealousy. She helps her every time right? But this girl actually thought that “she can be this careless / indifferent / easy going, because her life is indeed easy”
Even when they were idol trainee, it was explained the agency look at her more favourably than this girl. She was happy but jealous at the same time, like why did you have to be better than me when you ONLY followed me here?
That’s why, the awakening scene was supposed to be like the “last trigger”. Like lump of dirt that finally become muddy swamp.
But in here, it was drawn like the girl genuinely and sincerely taking care of her and only have positive thoughts. It makes me think she only feel jealousy right after she awakened when in actuality it’s not.
I wanted to add that it seems the friend could also see the awakening and the nonchalant attitude as a sort of betrayal to their hopes of being famous idols together. Someone you always talked about future dreams and plans together ended up on another path entirely but still reaching those dreams(the fame) easily and without you.
That would make sense much more than the manhwa ngl
If you look closely in the manhwa you can see she is garbage nit a friend.
Thought it shown lightly.
It seems the nuance of this friend’s hatred is quiet different from the novel. Even the reason the hatred budding is slightly different too.
I guess I should wait and see..
