Not that I've read them all to be fair, but I've attempted to read a few others and have really just hated them. Their glaring plot holes always piss me off, or the fact that in so many to give guidance means you MUST have sex. (Where are all the kids from all this sexing in those universes?) Or just plain terrible/abusive characters that we're supposed to somehow sympathize with.
This guideverse is much more believable. The world building imo is just better than the others I've tried to read. The characters have depth and are actually likeable. I'm so happy that this was the first guideverse I stumbled upon, and it really set the bar for the others.
