I know I have unprocessed sexual trauma, and relating to the helplessness of the MC and crying out my pain with them helps me because otherwise I keep that nonsense locked up tight and I can't cry or get angry about it and just feel numb (same with horror movies. Therapy is too expensive~~). But like, I get you can feel passionate about stuff, but sometimes it's better to take a breath and know you can't solve the world and back button out (what I like to do is, I make my long angry comments about things that I could well get in a fight online over, take a big breath, then back button out. I don't know how to not sound mean or sarcastic or whatever online except to say I mean it. Genuinely truly I'm not trying to be a dick, this is actually me giving advice, if it's not helpful ignore me). Or, I've seen this done on other pages, just be kind and informative.
