"A lot of feminine characterisation in media (and a stereotype historically accepted in a patriarchal and misogynistic society) is really two dimensional and caricaturist, and being feminine is immediately associated with being weak, two-dimensional and brainless (this is also heavily internalised in women as well). On the contrary, being masculine has always typically been represented in a positive light. Both of these things occur because the male perspective is accepted as “the” perspective in a lot of ways; most media is focussed from a male perspective, and most people are raised to accept this (including women). Being in charge of the perspective of society, men uphold masculinity as an ideal state of being, and to discriminate against women, condemn femininity in the ways described above. Hence, a lot of men’s self image relies on their masculinity as well.
So, when a woman has more masculine (“positive”) traits, she isn’t necessarily going against society’s norms; she’s just “playing the men’s game,” so to speak (which some people would still be against if they’re deeply misogynistic) - girls in a lot of ways are expected to at least try on “masculine” traits, because in their society and reflected in media, they see the masculine people represented as people, and the feminine people objectified (and, being a person, they often connect with the masculine representations as well as the feminine).
But, when a man exhibits more feminine (“negative”) traits, this can be seen as more of a social disturbance and upheaval. In a society that shuns femininity, a man (who is the ideal, and “should” have all the traits viewed positively by society) embodying feminine traits is almost a rebellion - this person favours feminine traits, implying that they are somehow better than masculine ones. Embodying feminine traits not only devalues a man in society’s eyes (because the traits themselves are devalued), but it also threatens men who rely on masculinity to see a man expressing feminine traits and still existing as a man (partially because they don’t understand why a man would want to have feminine traits, which makes him seem foreign and unrelatable, while also challenging the gender binary of society which many people rely on for their sense of self, especially men for whom it benefits). This is typically why men get more hate for being feminine than women get for being masculine."

It's like you didn't read anything I wrote and it went over your head. They don't get hate because they look like women and act feminine, they get hate because it's seen as gay or transgender which is homophobic. A man having feminine traits is seen as a man that is gay because that's a stereotype that sticks with a lot of gay men. Only one can wear the pants.
If it's not because they're seen as transgender. A lot of women hate fem men because they believe those men are cosplaying as

Look, you can have whatever opinion you want. Believe what you want. Just like I do. If the best you can do is call people names and make up delulu scenarios about people you disagree with, then there's no point in speaking to you. "You sound like one of those annoying women who scream misogyny at anything and everything." Coupd you be any more dramatic? You know what you sound like? A misogynist, hope you have the day you deserve I'm not going to waste my time with you
Ppl in the comments complaining are so pathetic. Nobody gaf if u didn't want a twink bottom just don't read it then?? This is the same energy as going to BLS with buff bottoms and complaining he isn't a top. Some ppl prefer twinks and others prefer hunks.
