the yaoi readers here on mangago have become adults (lol) when i went to read the reviews for this manga, instead of countless readers murdering the keyboard with SCREAMING LETTERS OF PURE HATE AND IGNORANCE, everyone's all calm and giving constructive criticism like oh, yeah, i don't like this much but ill see what happens in the next chapter

Um, no, that's not constructive at all, mmkay? That's just like saying we should wait to see how a trial turns out before 'blaming' the accused in a rape trial, even though it's okay to blame the victim before that time arrives. That's actually quite IMMATURE sweetcheeks and is the thing I see happening the MOST often on Mangago, so, no, nothing changed. OOPS?

trial? whut? i was talking about how there were no keyboard warriors in the comments section

and as far as your trial analogy thing is concerned, according to many of the reviews, no one is blaming the accused(which is probably the seme in your argument) for rape at all. no one is waiting for a rape trial. the readers have a good head on their shoulders and they can see that the victim is the instigator. your argument is confusing me

Apparently your post just triggered a keyboard warrior. Goes to show that everyone hasn't become "adults" yet lol

i actually agree with you. and aside from commenting hate or something most readers now wait for the story to develop more while analysing the characterization, the problem, and the development. furthermore, it actually feels like learning something because instead of going gaga readers are learning to read carefully and logically.

I think more than becoming adult, the peak of hype of yaoi and stories that gains character or plot hate is gradually decreasing and there's actually a pattern for this. remember before when readers tend to hate comment on translators how slow they update or how they drop the project? now most readers thank the translators. and there's this one when there's a plothate and readers saying they'll drop the manga? now they are saying they just wait it out, and how before there's hate comment for some characters but now it's mostly rationalizing why did these characters do such things.

personally, when i was on the peak of my yaoi phase i am emotionally invested to every story i read so i tend to negative comment but after reading all sorts of stories and seeing different perspectives i now tend to read in a more logical manner. but saying so, it's actually more like being detached to the story and reading it as a story. tho there are still some that I get really emotional with but i try to make it to be a critical reader
