Ngl we had this discussion like a few months ago and I thought everyone already knew the second son was gonna die. Bro's entire countenance screams death flag i actually like that this story doesnt fear bestowing death upon characters especially when it makes sense for them to die in some way. It makes the story more interesting and more fleshed out. Stories where they're all alive due to plot armor always end up deteriorating. I like authors that don't fear death.
Jager doesn't die, I don't know where they got that from, in the last chapter they even make a promise that Vlad would return the following year so Jager could teach him how to fish, did they read the novel with their feet and not with their eyes??
Yah I didn't like the route the author led him to and I still pity him. Its just so sad he chose that path ifykyk ╥﹏╥ for him its either just death or be the family head.

Yeah. It made a lot of sense for him and his character. So sad he ended up dying but it made sense for him.

HE DIDN'T DIE! The only one who dies is Joseph, his knight Jager (Vlad's master) survived and is still alive at the end of the story, I don't understand why they say he died
