Unfortunately it looks like the English names are from the official translation. It’s the classic “translators change Chinese names to make it easier for English speakers.” Smh. It’s also more upsetting that these official sites do it and just randomly choose names they like.
The non-official translation which looks to be translated by one person, had the Chinese names included. You can see the translator’s name in chapter 51
Is there a version of this that doesn’t have those weird name changes to English halfway through? I have no idea who’s who anymore and it’s kinda annoying. Is there a translation that stays true to the Chinese names???
