So yohan has beef w his dad so he dont eat dinner with his family he eats after they are done so one time jun tried to bring the family closer grabbed yohan by force and forced him to eat w them after the dinner they went to yohans room and he took it as a humiliating so he molested jun and grabbed his arm hard to the point it broke after that yohan didnt talk to jun at school kept ignoring him and jun started to eat lunch alone at school so one time yohan offered a chocolate bread jun didn’t eat it so he said okay i will throw it in the trash and threw it on jun’s book and started to like say something about him out loud so ppl in class will hear and yohan’s friend threw a ball into jun’s face and didnt say sorry then jun became an outcast for like three or four months but they made up kinda by force and yohan’s sister tells jun that everything he has heard of yohan is a lie like how his family hates him and other stuff so jun gets mad an after graduation jun decided to cut yohan off so he throws coffee on his face and tells him how much he has always hated him and blocked him (i stopped the novel here)

They both have internalized homophobia. They both like one another. They are in high school and are very both the same, calculating, insecure, and dealt with trauma from different sources. Because both of them are manipulative (more so as they want to be in control)and impulsive with possessiveness (different levels but still possessiveness) and have terrible communication skills but expects one another to know be honest when they can’t even be honest with themselves. They will end up together but it’s gonna be a roller coaster. Both are going to do crap things and ML will sacrifice to a point of being slightly disfigured and crippled to protect MC. They will be together but this will be college and because they are both snobbish they have made enemies. MC is in his head too much and listens to everyone else without realizing that they are bias towards ML and ML makes it very obvious of how he feels about MC. Everyone kind of figures. MC is too scared to be out and he does realize ML is homosexual like him but he is scared. ML family is aware of him being homosexual and his sister is going to lie and make it seem like ML is lying about how he is treated but it was because his whole family sees him as a disgrace. Also ML is neurodivergent as well so they look down on him because of that. All the kids are intelligent but because the sister is even more intelligent as him as well as the older brother (IQ) score wise that she looks down on him but he still way above average but low compared to them. So he treated like the black sheep in the family. He even comes out during Christmas mass to his family in church saying he prays for a boyfriend because he had been love at first sight with ML since their first year when he saw him across the cafeteria. ML only hung out with the bully because it was access to the MC. ML obsessively in love with MC but is a immature, insecure, impulsive and scared teenager. ML is afraid of rejection and insecure that ML is always going to be in love with the bully. He also afraid that MC will reject him because he isn’t into him. ML knows MC is using him to protect him. He is fully aware but rather be used then to not have him. MC is so scared of been bullied and outed and ML nevers bullies him like that and he didn’t put the roach in the letter. It was one of the other dumb guys. MC is going to have a lot of enemies and when they get into their little spit spat people will use that. ML has a lot of enemies as well because he doesn’t care about anything but ML but people are scared of him cause he can fight. MC is going to be pushed more to out him by doing an asinine plan after they get into their bs misunderstanding and communication. Like I said you will be so annoyed because they don’t have the best communication skills even when it’s like let’s talk but they don’t want to fully admit because they both are immature insecure cowardly teenagers. They are the epitome of impulsive, irrational and insecure kids with fear of rejection due to their own traumas and self esteem. But it will be ending with a nice ending as they learn how to talk. I absolutely love this story. It’s so real and human with the typical trash decisions but very realistic to what majority of what people are. They grow a lot.
