Who treats this other character who is in a tough situation bad and so people pity this character and hate the other one, okay, so the readers save way they've read or watched a sad or infuriating scene before, they feel emotions like sadness and anger on behalf of these characters who suffer, you know like when you watch mufasa and he dies and you feel sad and angry at scar for killing him.
That's why the readers who are sane and normal dislike jk because he treated dan like his own personal porn star and degraded him with no regards of his feelings, and to this point of the story never showed any signs of remorse, shit he never even seemed regretful. You know and people like they crave for a real rapist to be stabbed in prison, some readers crave for a fictional rapist because he's similar to a real rapist (rapekyung) to get his ass mopped with the floor, simple as that.
