I’m dropping at ch 8 bc the mc is so distasteful like idek how to explain it?? She can’t comprehend that her sudden change is strange to others and acts like her new self is the norm?? She’s been an evil bitch for YEARS, and one day does a 180 and when her husband expressed doubt in her intentions with the homemade cookies, she snapped at HIM calling HIM unmannered??? Like does she not realize that she went from “humans are objects for me to use and sleep with me now to get me pregnant ” to “here’s some homemade cookies ” in literally a day and gets offended when her intentions were questioned like duh of course it will when you haven’t even made an excuse for the change.
