Well it is, author said the side stories aren’t canon I believe(?). It was just made to satisfy readers who didn’t like the main ending. The real ending is the one where you saw the ML reject him, the finale.

that lwk sucks tho the author shouldn't have to change what they wanted as an ending lol but I guess it gives closure to the readers.
Legit thought it was a short story with the sides honestly tho I understand where they're both coming from but hopefully they talk about it soon because they're actually so cute
