yeah you're correct abt the honorifics and stuff but they're step siblings lol... they simply just call each other "jiejie" or literally translated to "sister" as an honorific because that's how we call women older than us in china, its pretty much like using "unnie"

The MC is the author and got isekai'd into her own story as the bully character. So they're really not step sbilings even though the characters were in her story. It's more creator x creation.
