So true. Meanwhile, Carcel is left dealing with trouble from her past lives and cleaning up after the two men from her past lives.

Too bad for them that Inés doesn’t hate Cárcel and will regret so much a lot of her past actions towards him. Ines hasn’t even realized yet just what a rare and invaluable treasure Cárcel is to her. She’ll even say she dare not measure his value now that she knows him better. What a beautiful line.
I’m excited to see that so hopefully the manhwa team doesn’t try to water it down like it did Ines’ other moments of self reflection.
Keep your expectations low though. I think there are certain things they cannot cut because they lead to certain development.
Yeah that’s probably for the best. I’ll keep that in mind.
I don’t get why some people are still more harsh towards Carcel when he’s been dealt with so many setbacks ever since Ines chose him this timeline unlike Ines who benefited from their relationship. Examples:
1. A mentally grown woman objectifies him and chooses him at the age of 6 to use as a pawn in a plan. After forcing him into an engagement she pretends he didn’t existed even when he accepts the unfair situation he’s in and tries to court her.
2. We also later find out that Carcel’s been tormented most of his childhood by Oscar because of Ines choosing him yet he never blamed her even when he resented her, nor did he let her know about it.
3. Now Carcel once again has to deal with Oscar trying to assassinate/ kill him because of his relationship with ines but is trying to keep this a secret from ines so she doesn’t worry.
4. There was also the issues of ines hiding her illness from Carcel, but when he finds out he instantly empathizes with her unlike his butler and doesn’t hold a grudge against her for hiding this from him.
5. He’s also under the impression that ines is in love with a man and seems to not want to push ines or interrogate her despite him feeling hurt and confused.
6. He also found out previous timeline memories of ines being married to Oscar and never looking twice at Carcel. But instead of interrogating her he continues treating her well as if nothing happened.
He’s had so many negative things happen to him due to ines choosing him as kids yet never makes ines feel guilty about it. But for some reason readers hold the most criticism towards Carcel mainly. It’s weird.
