uh no there's more into that than just fucking him as an adult

i don't get what you guys are going on about, because other than saving the from his abusive dad, which i don't really think he cares about, since the story doesn't show him like a hero saving random kids left and right, the only reason in the context of the story for him to save the kid is because of the timeline loop, he has to be fucking the kid in the future so he doesn't die in the past. He just wants to save himself and fuck a cute guy.

    grooming noun [U] (CRIME)

"the criminal activity of becoming friends with a child in order to try to persuade the child to have a sexual relationship"

I don't think he rescued him so he can have sex with him.

that just means you have no media literacy

that just means you have no media literacy

    Ok..... Whatever

I understand what grooming means. I'm saying this is not the case.

He rescued him because it gave him light. Whether it progresses to a romantic relationship or not depends on their relationship. He didn't rescue him "to have sex with him". The child can just naturally become interested in the adult once he also teaches adulthood. You're just assuming grooming here.

Stuck to the TOPIC. Personal attacks NOT welcomed here.

I'm on topic, I'm not attacking you, i just mean that you really didn't not take into consideration what happens on the story, it's okay that a person grows up and falls in love with whoever, the problem is in THIS story specifically, the time travel aspect is used to show that it is grooming, he from the future literally tells his past self to get involved with the kid. It's a time loop, his past self fucks the other guy even before meeting him as a kid. When he meets the kid THEY HAD ALREADY FUCKED.

Agree. I do feel that OP is heightening the situation of what is "presumed grooming" - there was no explicit nor implicit grooming in here. ML (Duke) adopted the kid and they shared a life together. If we take into consideration that the ML fked MC before he murdered his family, why TF does he have bloody nightmares in the first timeline (Duke)? It doesn't make sense for the current ML (Duke). In the second timeline (younger self), it looks like the ML is not burdened by the killing of his family like in the first timeline. Moreover, it likely is that he trusts the child knowing the child loves him unconditionally, given he's never received that, he did not want to RUIN it by forcing himself on the kid or create a toxic situationship between him and the kid (which was not the case here like many other BLs) - he fked the MC as an adult and as time went on ML even tried avoiding a relationship with MC that was Only sexual/romantic in nature since he felt that the MC should see him as a parent figure. Once again, they both fail to keep the status quo so I don't blame either since they only start to have any sort of sexual and romantic contact after MC becomes an adult (ML gave him plenty of chances to meet others as well as the space to).

That being said, let bygones be bygones, OP said they don't understand, I'm assuming they likely don't have the capacity to look at it from any other angle than a distorted one (given many situations are overlooked irl anyway) and it's easier to look through a narrow lense than the bigger picture.
