I wouldn’t sweat it. Age gaps in manga has become the new thing to namecall, insult, and bully people about. They like to pretend they have the moral high ground when they don’t realize they’re bullying ACTUAL people over fictional characters. So while they think their full of morality, they’re worse off than those shipping fictional characters. :)
I understand, though people want to call out pedophilic shit and not make it normalized because it’s problematic although it makes no sense if they call out people enjoying a ship made by the author.. like call the author out instead lmaoo
I think people just go overboard. In the grand scheme of things, these people aren’t real and the age gap is probably 2-4 years? The younger guy has a crush on the older guy and nothing has happened. It’s just fans and the author thinking it’s a cute ship.
I just wish the people who bring this sort of stuff would work for ACTUAL change or help for children in real life. Not playing moral superiority police over fictional characters
Ppl are wondering why they ship hatano with mc but bro why would the author add him otherwise.. hatano has been in love w mc like ever since he was young ig and he’s still stubborn or chasing after mc. And mc idk he always has been running or trying to not have a BL himself. So im guessing that’s why author added this character. Though idk his real age yet is it 17? He said some lines in the jdrama about waiting until he’s 20. So is it 17? Man idk tbh but I don’t think y’all should call out someone for shipping them when the author themselves decided to add a character that simps over our mc and making scenes with em ..
