You mean him getting shot or does something else happen? I only checked chapter 141-145 and concluded the main points from those chapters and the flashbacks shown

I just checked chapter 141 and it’s gonna get really exciting from there, there will only be around two chapters of slight angst but everything will turn out well for all of them and everyone will get their happy ending! Arthur proposes long before that in his cop uniform, their rings are pretty, Jaikar is supportive, mr. Hoffman gets released and Cain gets shot.
It will probably take around one year until we get to finally see that tho!
