i read the whole thing you wrote, and it's not "basically" grooming either. & he actively avoided it for a while & listened to his partners requests & it clearly wasn't one-sided either. if there had been some kinda forcing or coercion involved then i'd be more inclined to agree with you, but there wasn't.

I've been following yaoi for a while now, and age gaps are pretty common, but that doesn't mean they're cool. Personally, I would be really worried about some relative or child of mine going to an adult's house and clearly having intentions with him. This guy is about 28 years old, that's more than a 10-year age difference. The boy was in high school, maybe 16/17. It's basically grooming
You can't ignore the fact that he also stopped partying with his family to go have sex with an adult, lol
