true, in the first like 30? chapters, he was genuinely a fun character to watch, he was troubled and hard to read, and he was bad but there were a lot of sides to him still. now though he seems so taken by his obsession and he’s just doing anything and everything to keep yeonjoo. it could all be attributed to how he grew up and the nature of palace politics, but it’s still sad TT
