I thought it was good, it was long but the chapters themselves aren’t that long in my opinion so it builds up more and a lot of it’s about their inner monologues and descriptions etc.
And yes even though it’s all huge misunderstandings the reason for them make a lot of sense, it’s all based on their past trauma and the entire arc allows them to go to extremes to explore their pasts and come out better in the end.
This next arc is crucial for their character development and relationship.
