Did you read all of it? Did you not notice that the ML gave MC a drug that heals all physical injury?!
in chapter 10, one of the last panels, bruises can be seen on his stomach. They disappear in the next panels at the start of chapter 11. i didn’t see ml give mc more of the drug so i figured it was just an inconsistency.

what happened to his bruises… here one panel gone the next… it was uncomfortable enough in the first place but now it just feels like the author is trying to make us forget the abuse …
